Mapping the journey

The Captain's Log

The earliest cave art served as astronomical charts and operational maps—tools engineered in the dark to preserve hard-won patterns and guide future crossings. Leaving the island requires keeping a rigorous ledger: recording sights, feelings, anomalies, and successful passages so the route remains repeatable.

The Open Architecture

Mapping the journey serves two practical functions:

  • Route Continuity — Documenting internal telemetry, biomarker shifts, and mental models so you can find your way back to baseline after exploring deep water.
  • Shared Provenance — Publishing raw logs and computational notebooks in the open, leaving clear waypoints for other like-minded travelers navigating their own N=1 transitions.

The Live Vault

The Shards and Deep Dives form the growing atlas of this work. Each entry logs a specific experiment, system dissection, or navigational model—built and tested in the open.
